Currently I have had no calls for work at all this week, and the cut-off for the payday payout this month is tomorrow.
I’ve only got 100 dollars worth of income coming in this month from my ‘jobs’. And even with the commissions I’ve gotten, and my current Patreon (18 dollars is still a massive help at this point), I won’t be in any good shape come February.
I need 400 dollars to be able to keep my head above water, because without it, here’s what I have to give up:
First and foremost, food. We spend 50 bucks on food each week, and after Rent, my boyfriend’s college debt, my phone bill, and car payments, We’ll be down to pennies. And that’s without factoring in our groceries. So we’ll have to make due with the canned foods and whatever we buy this month on the gift card we were given recently by a relative (which, no, won’t happen again, I can tell you that now).
Second, I’ll only have car insurance until February, where I’ll promptly have no cash, likely, to be able to pay it. That means I won’t be able to legally drive anywhere, and if I do, and something happens to the car, it won’t get replaced, it won’t get fixed, and I won’t be able to get a rental to keep driving. So that’s out.
Third, which is small potatoes compared to the rest, I’ll have to give up all my subscriptions except for my Patreon ones (cause my Patrons cover that, honestly). So that means I lose Philo TV services, Netflix, and Roll20, which I used the premium service for to house all the maps and minis and other things I was using for my tabletop games.
So, there you have it. Even if I give up the third thing (Which I can deal with honestly), I’m still out of food and a car. I’m in a serious clench guys.

Update: a generous friend gave us 100, and I got a call today for work at a local school, but no guarantee of more jobs. 300 dollars to go, though.

Update: I can technically make all my sub payments, my phone payment, 2 more car payments, and an insurance payment, but that doesn’t promise groceries next week, and it certainly doesn’t help with the week after’s car payment. It’s at least another week to pay-day, and I want to be sure I can get into February.
